Local TV Station WVXF-Caribbean Brings a New Network to the Market

Starting May 1, WVXF-Caribbean will become Live Well Caribbean, a Live Well Network affiliate. Live Well Network is owned by Disney-ABC Television Group, according to a press release from the Caribbean Broadcasting Network.
The new network will feature popular lifestyle topics: healthy cooking, home makeovers, fashion and beauty, health and medicine, outdoor activities, travel and advice for solving personal problems. It will teach viewers the ABC’s of a vibrant lifestyle, how to enhance, improve and enjoy everyday life more fully.
The network’s series include: "Let’s Dish," on making healthy meals taste delicious with Chef Chris Koetke, dean of the School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College; "Home with Lisa Quinn," on magical renovations and home makeovers; "Mirror, Mirror," on beauty and fashion; "Say Ahh…" on expert health and medical news; "Motion," on ways to enjoy the great outdoors; “Mary Talks Money,” a financial advice and literacy show; “Mexico: One Plate At a Time,” on exploring the wonders of the Mexican kitchen with Chef Rick Bayless; “Custom Fit,” on testing fitness and diet trends;Laura McKenzie’s Traveler,” your guide to the world’s most visited destinations; “Here’s How RightNow,” on how to tackle those household projects; “Good Cookin’ WithBruce Aidells,” on the tastes and flavors of your favorite foods; and many more.
WVXF-Live Well Caribbean will be broadcast over the air in the U.S. Virgin Islands on channel 17.1 and in Puerto Rico on channel 26.3 in San Juan and on channel 51.3 in Mayaguez. It is also available through cable carriers Innovative Cable on channel 9 (St. Thomas), channel 10 (St. Croix), OneLink Communications on channel 17, Liberty Cable on channel 80, Choice Cable on channel 30, and Dish Network on Channel 10.
