Pistarckle Theater will hold a gala fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 9. The festivities will start off with a champagne cocktail hour followed by a dinner, bar and live music. There will also be live and silent auctions with incredible items being offered.
This gala will recognize and feature performers from “Cabaret,” “The Fantasticks” and, most importantly, Pistarckle’s Summer Education Programs’ productions. The theater is proud of all the young actors who went through its education program. Some have even gone on to pursue the profession in college and beyond. So come and help us encourage and celebrate its talented youth.
The evening will also toast Ricardo and Josefina Charaf, longtime benefactors of Pistarckle Theater. Pistarckle would not have been able to bring years of live theater without its many benefactors, and this year it needs them even more. Due to the economic hardships the
territory faces, the theater has lost major funding from the V.I. government that has been critical to its continued existence. So buy a ticket or a table and help support children’s opportunities to see and be part of live theater on St. Thomas.
