Pistarckle Theater Presents Hip Hop Camp for Four Weeks

Join a very talented group of young leaders at Pistarckle Theater in Tillet Gardens and find your place along the evolutionary path of urban music. The camp will begin on July 25. Camp hours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for four weeks. During the leadership camp, students will work on their parts for the condensed version of “Follow the Beat,” an original production written by director Larry Bryant.
The students will also learn what it means to be a leader and partake in fun theater games that build concentration and communication skills. The performance of “Follow the Beat” will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20. The cost is $75 per week, plus a $25 registration fee. The first week’s tuition and registration is due Monday July 25. Rolling/open enrollment registration forms are available online or at Pistarckle Theater. Students should bring a lunch daily or a separate $6 to buy lunch from Jack’s. Water is always available at the theater as well as other snacks and drinks.
