The St. Thomas East End Medical Center Corporation announces an updated schedule and items for distribution. Full services will be provided from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting Monday, Oct. 23. Appointments will be honored and walk-in patients are welcome. Prescription distribution via the donated medication program will continue from 1:30-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Patients needing immunizations are invited to visit the health center to see a nurse or to make an appointment, said the V.I. Department of Health
The medical center received a large shipment of toddler kits equipped with non-perishable food and toiletries for infants between newborn to 12 months from the V.I. Department of Health through FEMA. The items will be distributed to the general public at the Tutu Park Mall adjacent to the food court during regular hours of operation.
Staff and management of the St. Thomas East End Medical Center Corporation is grateful to the V.I. Water and Power Authority, V.I. Department of Health, VITEMA, Tutu Park Mall, VIYA, FEMA, Ian Douglas, PharmD, Direct Relief, Army Corp of Engineers, Vermont National Guard Disaster Medical Team, and the Federal Bureau of Public Health Services for working to bring the health center to full service.
