Minor Shot in Contant Knolls

A minor was shot in the head late Sunday in the Contant Knolls area, according to the V.I. Police Department.

According to police, at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call about a gunshot victim being brought by a private vehicle to the Schneider Regional Medical Center emergency room.

Officers made contact with a black male, reportedly a minor, who appeared to have been shot and was bleeding from the right side of his head. The police did not release the name of the victim.

Police urged anyone with information about the incident to call the department at 340-774-2211, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-714-9801, 911 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
