Sisters Impacting Sisters Inc. (SIS) and the women of Impacting Your World (IYWCM) invite the public to their 12th Annual Sister 2 Sister Conference, set for May 19-20, at the Impacting Your World Main campus. This year’s theme is “I’m Worth It.”
The conference focuses on empowering women to establish and maintain a healthy balance in their everyday lives and on giving them tools to deal with current social, economic and political conditions.
Sisters Impacting Sisters International Inc. is dedicated to helping women from all walks of life to fulfill their destinies and God’s calling and purpose for their lives. SIS’s outreach has brought enlightenment and fulfillment to over 1,000 women and families in the U.S. Virgin Islands and throughout the Caribbean.
This year’s speakers are: Dr. Marilyn Brathwaite-Hall, Ph.D., psychologist; Dr. Cassandra, M.D., OB GYN; Sherla Farrell-Sealey, APRN; Annette Nicholson, professional fitness coach; Rev. Dr. Winnelle K. Roberts; Dr. Judith Hodge; Gabrielle Leonard, life coach; Melanie Turnbull Esq.; as well as young people and other local speakers. There will be free health screening for all participants.
The workshop topics this year are: Mental and Physical Health; Purpose, Success and Finance; Relationship and Beauty.
There will also be a youth and adult Praise Explosion Concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, at IYWCM. Tickets are $10 for adults and students; tickets for children under 12 are $5. The total cost of the Women’s Conference is $10, including Friday evening, speakers, Real Talk sessions, a reception and Saturday workshop, free health screenings, lunch and more.
