To raise awareness about veganism, the Vegan Society is asking all vegans to wear any vegan/animal rights message T-shirt (button, sticker, necklace, etc.) to raise awareness for the rights of animals.
After you wearing such an item on Saturday, April 1, please e-mail a picture of yourself in the message shirt (or button, sticker, etc.) to email@example.com. Saturday, April 1, is the first Vegan T-shirt Day in the Virgin Islands.
If you like this idea and want to raise awareness to help the animals, please share it (and wear it!).
There will be a raw vegan potluck held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at Brewers Bay, St. Thomas.
Remember: The first Saturday of every month is Vegan T-shirt Day!
For more information, contact the Vegan Society of P.E.A.C.E. Virgin Islands at firstname.lastname@example.org or 227-0558.

What is a Vegan?
A vegan is a type of diet that excludes beef, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products and all other animal-derived ingredients. While vegans follow an animal-free diet, they also do not wear animals or use them for entertainment or any other purpose.
A vegan diet offers an incredibly effective way to protect animals, the environment and a person’s health.
