DeMoi L. Corraspe of St. Thomas died on Wednesday, Jan. 25. He was 27 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Dahlia Parris-Blyden; daughter, Remoia Corraspe; father, Dennis Lee Corraspe Sr.; grandmothers: Bernice Parris and Helena Barnes; brothers: Ja’moi, K’moi and Akeem Corraspe; sister, Urisha Lynnice Williams; aunts: Sheryl, Monique, Roberta, Cindy, Alicia, Alvira and Nicole; uncles: Kerry, Shawn, Kirk, Virgil, Wayne, Barry, Byron Jr., Brian, Elvis and Arthur; niece, K’Miya Corraspe; special friend, Sherise Petersen; extended family: Megan, Jovanty, Shabba, Joey, Vincey and Kay; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a first viewing on from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at The Celestial Chapel, Hurley Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Smith Bay Eastern Cemetery.
