Gilbert Alban Monrose was born on May 11, 1946, and died on Jan. 30.
Tributes will be at 9 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The deceased will be cremated.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Monrose; sons: Marcus, Gaius (Sala), Pastor Gilford and Thadeaus (Wasi) Monrose; daughters: Lydia Sprauve, Dyan Pascal, Jessica Monrose, Dr. Janis Modeste and Dr. Nadia Monrose Mills. grandchildren: Chanella, Malik (Capri) and Elizabeth Monrose, Jonell, Jante, and Jalen Sprauve, Gilisha, Adesha and Caitlyn (Lysha) Pascal, Nyla Monrose, Citrina and Bria Niles, Ariel, Abigail and Aaron Modeste, Gianne and Joshua Monrose, Orion, Malachi and Jacob Mills; great-grandson, Jaden Meade; brother, Denis Munrose; sisters: Catherine (Hermina) Monrose, Esther James, Naomi Etienne, Rachel Flood and Olive Roger.
