Dial-A-Ride Is Accepting Riders

If you or a family member need a ride, you can call for door-to-door accessible transportation on St. Thomas. Dial-A-Ride is open and accepting riders.

For more than 34 years, Dial-A-Ride has provided safe, courteous and efficient service to senior citizens and individuals for whom transportation has been a challenge. Dial-A-Ride transports senior citizens, those who are differently abled and children with disabilities to educational, medical, social, civic and community appointments. It also facilitates the delivery of prescriptions, groceries, etc. for those who cannot leave their homes.

Dial-A-Ride offers its transportation services between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, to St. Thomas residents and tourists who make reservations. Fares range from $5 to $8 per person each way.

Transportation can be arranged by placing a call to 776-1277. A 48-hour reservation is required.

The Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities Dial-A-Ride is a 501©3 non-profit organization.
