VI Golf Association Contributes $3,000 to Children’s Museum

President Neville Phillips along with Laurence and Maria Prendergast presented the check to the museum on Dec. 13. The money had been raised at the 2016 VI Golf Federation Tournament, Aug. 28, at the Mahogany Run Golf Course. Golf closely parallels real life as one experiences the highs and lows of the game. Golf is a sport that will teach a child integrity, discipline and respect. The VICM is proud to have been a part of this event, and to support the importance of active sport in children’s lives. The VICM aims to create an environment that fosters explorative learning and a lifelong passion for seeking knowledge. Children will carry the knowledge acquired from this learning and discovery with them for a lifetime.
