Eurita Irma Callwood Dies in Georgia

Eurita Irma Callwood A memorial service to celebrate the life and cherish the memories of our beloved sister, mother, aunt and friend, Eurita Irma "Wee Wee" Callwood, who died on July 5, in Atlanta, Georgia, has been set for St. Thomas.
She is survived by her son, Johnphin Wilson; grandchildren: K’Dahl Wilson, Kyasia Greenidge, Tristan Wilson, Jah’Nai Lennard and Omar Simpson; special adopted daughters: Willa Fils and Nadine Lennard; brothers: Albert "Butty" Callwood, Ashley "Tully," "AK" Callwood Sr. and Kwame Motilewa Esq.; sister, Edwita "Tin Tin" Hart; aunt, Gertrude Parson; nephews: Kendal, Adrian, Ashield, Herman, Alston, Alford and Alfred Callwood, and Herman Hart; special great nephews: Kyza A. Callwood, Cerone Samuel, Je’Ron Pemberton, Diondre Gumbs, De’Zhane Amey and DaeZhari Johnson; and nieces: Alecia Callwood-Gray, Desiree Gumbs, Cheryl Callwood-Williams, Jakela Lambert-Cave and Cora Cranston.
She is also survived by special great niece, J’Nyah Cave; special adopted nieces: Panya Carter and Lori Anderson; special adopted son and cousin, Walter "Rusty" Allen; brother-in-law, Edward Hart; adopted mother, Iris Wilcox; and special friends: Alicia Leerdam, Addie Ottley, Karina Grant, Maureen Hunt, Gwen Hendricks, Barbara Callwood, Dr. Lucia Woods, Olivine Leerdam, Juliet Liburd, Lydia Hendricks, Florentine and Carlos Woods Sr., Wintropp Elskoe, Gertrude Fredericks, the Acoy family, the Coreas, the Abramsens, the Gumbs, the Williamses, the Sprauves, the Nisky Moravian Church family, Tortola Agape Church family, Lilburn Christian Church family, BCB Middle School family and the Charlotte Amalie High School Class of 1966.
Other survivors include special cousins: Arlean Parson,Juanita Almestica-Baker and Joan Baptiste; among her many godchildren are Tanisha Morton-John, Kareem Cameron, Rashaun Ross, Khye Hendricks, Atim Senthill, and Carla and Aaron Plaskett; the Callwood, Baptiste, Parrott, Cid, Parson, Turnbull families; as well as many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
A memorial service is slated for 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, with a Singspiration followed by a service at 10 a.m. at Nisky Moravian Church.
During the service a special offering will be taken in honor of Eurita Irma "Wee Wee" Callwood for the Moravian Multipurpose Education Center Building Fund.
